In 2011 I had a severe reaction to Hydroxychloroquine, and went to the emergency room at DHMC in Lebanon,NH
I was covered with huge hives they took pics of in dermatology. I took 1 pill and when I was doing worse over a week, they asked if I put that in my pill box, yes, and it contaminated my pills in the box too. They had me doing some cream and then soak in wet clothes for 45 min to 1 hour . The problem is, I get these places on my face that start out pink and warm, then start to hurt, I put luke warm cloths as they recommended to see if that helped. They said the reason it was painful was because the area filled with blood beneath the skin.
The place starts to darken and opens up and bleeds out over a few days, then it acts like a burn and starts to heal around the outside it begins to peel also.
But, they didn't have much of a recommendation for my face, it becomes a mess, and this garbage is still beneath my skin as when I get out of bed and I'm warm, you can see the mottled look of it under my skin still.
