Severe Thirst After Meals As Well As Indigestion. All Tests Are Normal. Any Ideas ?

I experience severe thirst after meals as well as indigestion. In fact the only time im not thirsty is when im hungry and havent eaten. Ive been tested for high blood sugar levels and diabetes but nothing comes up. My GP is not concerned but i am, as it is very annoying to keep drinking and going to the toilet. Many thanks for your response!!! AAAA

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

This is due to hyper osmolarity after having food. Body asks for liquid to balance. But it is more common in diabetic. You should get done GTT and lipid profile. Take probiotics and yogurt, have adequate regular sleep, plenty of fluids, nutritious diet with required calorie and regular outdoor exercises. This will help you. Hope I answered your question. Consult your doctor for further management.
Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.
