Severe Throat Problem,cold Since Childhood
Since from my childhoot i have severe throat issues, i had taken antibiotics , ayurvedic and homeopathic. I also very prone to cold , i always avoid to drink cold wate eat icecreams, air condition even in summers. People sometimes make fun of me. I always wear full sleves. Specialist doctor says that even operation is not the resolution of throat and cold problems.

Chronic throat infection called chronic pharyngitis .
Chronic pharyngitis may be due to infection,thyroid problem , laryngopharyngeal reflux or it could be chronic tonsillitis.
In my opinion you can udergo for throat swab culture , thyroid fucntion test and a upper GI endoscopy to rule out acid peptic disease.
I would suggest stop any kind of antibiotic and other medications too.
Start taking antireflux agent like pantoprazole 4o mg OD and see an ENT specialist for review of your throat problem.

Your symptoms are most probably due to Chronic Sinusitis. Infected phlegm going down to throat causes repeated infections in throat. As it is there since childhood get a CT scan of sinuses (PNS) and see an ENT surgeon for proper management of Sinusitis
