Severe Tightness In Jaw, Shortness Of Breath, Strange Taste In Mouth Post Marijuana And Cigarette Smoking. What Is The Cause?
Hi I recently smoked marijuana and developed severe tightness in my jaw, shortness of breath, and strange taste in my mouth. I have been a regular smoker for years and this has never happened to me before. Since this first event I smoked again and the effects were even worse. Now even when I smoke a cigarette my jaw feels tight and I have a bad taste in my mouth. What is happening to me?
I understand your concerns. The severe tightness of the jew, shortness of breath and strange taste in mouth after marijuana use are not uncommon. Smoking cigarette may harm your medical profile as much as or more than marijuana does. However you need to kick the marijuana habit first and therefore I recommend that you visit with a psychiatrist who can take a look at the severity of the problem and prescribe medications that will prevent the symptoms of withdrawal. I believe you need to be in rehab and I wish you very well in you quest for recovery from the substance abuse.
I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
