Sexually Active. On Birth Control. Period Is Late. Have Cramping. Unable To Sleep. Pregnancy?
So my boyfriend and me have been sexually active for a few months now. I am on birth control (marvelon) and we use condoms and he pulls out before he finishes inside of me. Lately I have been under a lot of stress (more then usual) and have had a lot of things on my plate. On Saturday I took my last active pill and Sunday I started the placebo pills, however I still have not yet gotten my period. I have had vey very mild cramping but no blood. I usually start bleeding on Monday but sometimes early Tuesday. This is stressing me out beyond belief and I cannot sleep and I don't want to eat. I am so worried that I might be pregnant. Please, can you help me? I need advice on this situation.

Hi, Periods can get delayed or come on earlier due to emotional states such as stress, so it is not something to be overly worried about. As you are taking birth control pills, using condoms and your boyfriend is pulling out the chance of you being pregnant seem close to nil. But for your peace of mind, take a home pregnancy test, it is a relatively cheap and effective way to make sure. I hope this answered your question
