Heya Queencecilia. Any report such as this cannot be read as a stand-alone phenomenon. It has to be read in conjunction with the patient s symptoms & clinical signs eg burning urine, discharge, fever etc. Yes, there appears to be some sort of an infection but whether it is just a bacterial infection or a mixed infection with chlamydia et al is debatable. I understand how she feels about her boyfroend but, such matters are best decided between the two people involved & preferably the treating physician on the ground. I recommend she fixes an appointment with the dermatologist or gynecologist she is familiar with nearest you on the ground & will probably have to undergo a further series of tests to determine if there is an STD or not before deciding on an appropriate antibiotic regime.
