Sexually Active, Lab Test Shows Pus Cells, Coccobacilli, Epithelial Cells. Sexually Transmitted Disease?
I have a friend who has lab results that show Coccobacilli = plenty off, Baclilli few off , Pus cells = plenty / LPF , Epithelial cells moderate / LPF , I researched all individual things but can you assist in putting this all together she is afriad in is a std , In which she has only one boyfriend, but her boyfriend travels alot and has doubts about him ?

Any report such as this cannot be read as a 'stand-alone' phenomenon. It has to be read in conjunction with the patient's symptoms & clinical signs eg burning urine, discharge, fever etc.
Yes, there appears to be some sort of an infection but whether it is just a bacterial infection or a mixed infection with chlamydia et al is debatable. I understand how she feels about her boyfroend but, such matters are best decided between the two people involved & preferably the treating physician on the ground. I recommend she fixes an appointment with the dermatologist or gynecologist she is familiar with nearest you on the ground & will probably have to undergo a further series of tests to determine if there is an STD or not before deciding on an appropriate antibiotic regime. Plenty of oral fluids recommended in the interim. Treatment of both partners recommended & please do practice safe sex!
