Shall I Take Anti Rabies Vaccine For Dog Bite?

i have tine scratch on finger by 4 month old puppy ,yesterday he scratched me.He has till one vaccination shot, but not on rabies , doctor said that he is still small to do this vaccine . also it is a home dog . what u advice? thank you in advance

Hi,

Per CDC guidelines, you do not need to start rabies vaccinations if your dog can be observed for 10 days and it does not exhibit any symptoms of rabies. You can watch your puppy and if he doesn't have any symptoms of rabies in the next ten days, you would be fine.
