Sharp And Sore Headaches, Forehead Piercing Pain, Eye Pain, Headaches. What Is It One Can Do?

Hi there. I'm nearly 18 years old and I keep getting these very sharp and sore head pains. Mostly when i get up from sitting or lying down, the pain pierces into my forehead and i sometimes have to close my eyes because it hurts so much. They fell worse then an actual headache and i know for a fact that it isn't a headache. I have had this pain for practically the whole day now and i'm not too sure of what to do?

Hi,

Your headache features are consistent with orthostatic hypotension producing headache

You need to consult neurologist for neurological examination,if required CT scan brain to rule out structural lesion in brain

Also check Blood pressure in sitting and lying position.

Have good food and plenty of fluids with salt added in it

Also check hemoglobin

Hope this will help you
