Sharp Chest Pains Radiating From Left To Right. Had 18 Weeks Of Chemo For Breast Cancer. Is It Side Effect ?

I have just finished my 18 weeks of chemo for breast cancer. My bloob work is all over the place - some high, some low). I woke up this morning with sharp chest pains that seemed to be radiating from my left chest to my right chest. The pains were sharp, stabbing pains, and it was so painful I could hardly sit up in bed. I called the dr. on call for my oncologist and he thought it best that I go to the ER and have it checked out. And I did. AT the hospital, they ran blood test, an EEG, and a CT. All came back ok. The EEG was perfect, the CTdid not show a blood clot in my lung, and one blood test showed that my heart enzymes had not changed.

So, now I am wondering what was this pain that lasted 6 hours and then went away. Could it be a general chemo side effect from my blood levels being high/low?

Here's an idea of what's low:
WBC 5.5
RBC 2.55
HGB 8.9
HCT 27.1
MCV 106.3
MCH 34.9 (3+ MACROCYTOSIS)
PLT 50
GLUCOSE 115
BUN 8
CREATININE .91
GFR >60
TOTAL PROTIEN 6.0
ALBUMIN 3.1
SGOT/AST 41
SGPT/ALT 120
MAGNESIUM 1.9
CALCIUM 8.8

Thank you in advance,

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Chemotherapy for cancer develops immunity suppression, hence there may be infection or inflammation from inside body i. e. normally certain bacteria present in over body , when immunity suppresses these starts harming the body , otherwise they are normal.
CANDIDA is one of them ,which may cause inflammation in esophagus ,hence you were feeling excruciating pain on both sides of chest.
Certain anti cancer cause erosion of esophagus , hence there develops esophagitis and pain.
So esophagoscopy will reveal the exact disease.
Hope I have answered your query.
If further any question I will help.
Good luck.
