Sharp Pain Across Chest, Shoulder, Cough, Hoarse Voice, Vertigo, Heart Palpitations. Related Symptoms?

Hello, I had viral pericarditis just over a year ago. Recently I have had occassional pressure and short sharp pain across the left of my chest and shoulder . My main concern is the pressure on my chest. I also have had a slight cough and husky voice accompanied by a feeling of vertigo at times. Palpatations also occur. What do you think this is all related to. Thank you.

Hi,

Perhaps it is related to relapse or re-acutisation of the pericarditis. You need to get further physical exams from the cardiologist, together withe cardiac tests.

All the best!
