Sharp Pain In Stomach, Pelvic Bone Area. Dark Brownish Color Periods. Had Unprotected Sex. Pregnant?

Me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex. The last time we had sex was sometimes the last week of June and every since that night i have been having sharp pains in my stomach and my pelvic bone has been hurting daily, sometimes the pain is enough to make me cry or curl up. Iv'e took medicine for it but it only puts me to sleep and shortly after i wake back up the pains come back again. Iv'e came on my period but it's a dark brownish color. Could i be pregnant?

Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

There is every chance for you to become pregnant as you had an unprotected sexual act.

Also, I feel that the cause of your pelvic pain could be due any inflammatory or infective process involving the pelvic organs (? pelvic inflammatory disease).

I suggest you to consult a Gynecologist for further workup and management.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
