Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

A "sharp" pain felt under the collar bone is unlikely to be cardiac related and is more likely to be of muscular origin.

Pain of cardiac origin will be present "diffusely" covering part or whole front of the chest wall associated with sweating and anxiety. Also it tends to get worsened with any physical activity like walking or climbing the stairs ( which is not there in your case).

So don't get worried about the pain as it is not of cardiac origin.

If you are still concerned, approach your treating doctor.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
