Shortness Of Breath, Heaviness In Chest, Heart Palpitations, Dizziness, Pain In Upper Shoulder Moving To Back Of Head, Coughing Fits. Serious?
For about a month now I have been having shortness of breath with rapid heart beat while doing minimal activity. When lying down sometimes my chest feels heavy and have heart palpitations. Some dizziness, pain in upper left shoulder that moves up to the bottom back of head. Some nights I wake up with a coughing fit. And my arms and legs fall asleep easily.

1. New onset shortness of breath on minimal exertion is an alarming symptoms which can be due to a lung problem, a heart problem or a systemic illness like anemia. Since you have nocturnal cough also, it may related to heart.
2. Pain in shoulder , going to nape of neck with some dizziness can be related to cervical spine pathology.
I would like you to see your physician and get examined on priority.
