Should 2 Mg Bar Of Zanax From Walgreens Equal The Size Of 2 1 Mg Bar?
My doctor recently witched me from 1mg to 2 mg Zanax. I get my medicine from Walgreens, but what I have noticed is that one 2mg bar does not equal two 1mg tablets. I have contacted their them and they have ensured me it is the same medicine and just contains twice of much dose. Your thoughts?
Hi,welcome to healthcare magic forum. You just need not worry. The dose of medicines has nothing to do with its size. The active principle occupies a very minute proportion of the whole tablet, distributed evenly through out.The rest are just additives and preservatives, and carrier substances.Dose can be adjusted without altering the size during manufacture. Hope you will find this information useful.Thank you.
