Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I am diagnosed with(L) Leo Femoral DVT. My current prothrombin time is 40.6 seconds and INR at 5.49. I am prescribed with Acitrom 4mg daily. Should I continue the medicines?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. This is too high INR and you should see hematologist for further treatment. I would not like to suggest medication changes, but INR is not regulated well. You need to change dosage of Acitrom I would say. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
