Should Acitrom Be Continued For Ilio Femoral DVT?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I am diagnosed with(L) Leo Femoral DVT. My current prothrombin time is 40.6 seconds and INR at 5.49. I am prescribed with Acitrom 4mg daily. Should I continue the medicines?

This is too high INR and you should see hematologist for further treatment. I would not like to suggest medication changes, but INR is not regulated well. You need to change dosage of Acitrom I would say.
