Should Chlortrimeton Be Avoided Due To Side Effects Of Dizziness And Redness Of Skin?

I take several medications and was given an antibiotic about 3 weeks ago for bronchitis. I took all of it, but then started with a runny nose, and coughing. I started taking chlortrimeton and in the last few days have felt dizzy, and have experienced an unexplained hot sensation where I my skin turns red. I then took benadryl to quiet that down. Should i just not take the Chlortrimeton? I took it because i am being treated for high blood pressue.

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears to be the eosinophelia, pneumonia, tuberculosis, allergy,or may be secondary to the hypertension.
I advise you to consult a chest physician for diagnosis and treatment.
It appears that you are allergic to the antibiotic you have used, and may have to stop it.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime,di ethyl carbemazine citrate, citrizine, dexometharphane till the diagnosis is established.
Avoid taking fruits, juices, ice water, ice cream, and the things allergic to you.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
