Should Cyestra-35 Prescribed For Acne Be Taken During Menstruation?

I ve just been prescribed Cyestra-35 for acne treatment and birth control. This is my first time on birth control and the package says the pills should be started on the first day of menstration. I just had my period before receiving the prescription, so is it necessary to wait until my next cycle or can I just start taking the pills now? Does it matter? Will it make a difference?

Hi, yes, you have to wait for the next cycle
The taking of contraceptive pills should begin on the first day of menstruation. Starting at another time may decrease its effectiveness.
There is also the assurance that you are not pregnant.
