Should Doxazosin Be Continued While Experiencing Dizziness?

I have been taking doxasosin for about 2 months. I suddenly felt extremely faint and dizzy today while finishing lunch and it just continued for about half an hour and I was incapable of moving. I took a tablet this morning after changing from a night dose (as I got fed up with going to the loo every two hours at night) . Should I continue or try yet another by drug.?

Hello,

For the symptoms that you have of dizziness and faint the cause is not the medicine you are taking but it can be due to something else.

First the hypoglycemia needs to be ruled out then comes the possibility of TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack) but it is not the medicine caused the symptoms of dizziness and fainting.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
