Should Eleva 50mg Dosage Be Reduced To 25mg To Avoid Its Side Effects?

I have been prescribed 50 mlg Eleva ( Zoloft ) I started last week on 25 mg with mild side effects, my Dr recommended 50mg which I started this morning .. I have had to come home from work ... Nausea .. Diarrhoea.. head spinning... anxiety ... cannot eat...feeling so unwell ..should I drop back to 25 mg as I am concerned

Hello,

It does sound like you are having some side effects from the Zoloft, so I would recommend you let your doctor know as soon as you can. In the meantime, you could stop taking the Zoloft until you speak with your doctor since the half-life of the medication is very long it will stay in your system for a long time.
