I would like to know if I should avoid pregnancy if I am a 33 yr old woman with hashimotos hypothyroidism? my husband and I have a 2.5 yr old together and I had my older daughter 11 yrs ago they were both C-sections. I was just in march diagnosed with hashimotos and I am currently on vitamin D 6000 units, magnesium, levroxithine 0.075mcg. we would really like to have another baby but I just started looking things up and there seems to be a lot of risks for me and the baby. theres a possibility I am already pregnant
You need to make sure that your TSH is below 2.5 before planning pregnancy. If so, no issues with planning pregnancy. Please use Folic acid 1 mg from 3 months prior to planning pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
