Should I Be Concerned About A Deformed Gestational Sac During Pregnancy?

hello Respected Doctors, my wife is confirmed with pregnancy around 5th+ week. the doctor says the sack is somewhat deformed and is placed in lower area. they have prescribed endogest 100 and folic acid dose for her for about a week. thereafter a check up will be done. i am worried. kindly advice. regards gaurav

hi,usually the g sac is oval to round but if it is deformed it is aassociated with a higher chance of miscarriage spontaneously,but you must continue with endogest and folic acid as many times such g sacs are associated with normal pregnancy outcomes.take care all the best.
