Hello,
Dry cough has no connection with elevated
bilirubin level. To get rid of dry cough, stay adequately hydrated. Take water and fluids throughout the day. Take Syrup Grilinctus for dry cough (
Chlorpheniramine Maleate +
Dextromethorphan +
Phenylephrine), avoid excessive talking and keep cough lozenges so that the throat mucosa is not dry.
Use a humidifier in your room. A course of antibiotics like doxycycline-100mg will help reduce symptoms. Higher than usual levels of bilirubin indicates different types of liver or bile duct problems. Get clinically examined by a GP, get required blood tests and imaging tests done to detect liver enlargement or any other pathology that is causing you symptoms.
You will be treated accordingly. Stay hydrated. Take water, coffee, or tea. Eat fruits and vegetables every day. Take boiled food and boiled water. Avoid spicy, oily, hot, junk food. Take lean meat cooked in olive oil. Take digestives and liver tonic.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
