Should I Be Concerned About My Increasing WBC After Starting Imbruvica?

I have CLL. I started taking Imbruvica in April. I take the medication and have infusion chemotherapy one day every 3 weeks. My WBC keeps increasing, and is now about 89,000. I m getting concerned. My Dr says once everything kicks in my WBC should begin decreasing. Is that correct? I am sooo tired all the time. Should I be worried? Thank you!

Hello!
I think you should not be worried for the moment ,because during the time you are taking Imbruvica for CLL , you can experience an increase of WBC, and this is called "lymphocytosis" that can accur during the first month of the treatment with this product, but it can last for some patients for a median of 23 weeks. You have to wait because WBC should begin decreasing soon.
