Should I Be Concerned About Negative Pregnancy Results When I Am Two Months Pregnant?
Hi,I m a couple of months pregnant but I keep on getting negative results from scans and kits. My last test was two months ago but I feel the kicks all the time, what should I do?pls I was still having my peirods every month till I was introduced to pregnacare plus.
Take a repeat pregnancy test with the first morning mis-stream urine in the laboratory to rule out errors due to diluted urine, faulty tests usage, user error, etc. Get clinically examined by a Gynae, as quickening (first movement of the fetus / kicks) are not felt as early as 8 weeks (2months) of pregnancy. It is felt any time between week 14 and week 26 of pregnancy.
Get Ultrasound (uterus with fallopian tubes) done to detect ectopic pregnancy & to detect if there is no fetus growing in your body. USG will help to rule out pseudopregnancy / false pregnancy also known as pseudocyesis. The treating Gynae will also perform additional tests to rule out health conditions that may be the cause of pregnancy symptoms.
You will be treated and managed accordingly if you are pregnant or if found not be be pregnant. Just relax and take quality sleep. Take homemade nutritious food and avoid smoking, stay away from alcohol & recreational drugs.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
