Should I Be Concerned About The Dizziness And Haziness (soon After Waking Up) Following A Head Injury?

Four days ago I hit my head on the sleeping nook of the trailer I live in. I was trying to reset the power box so I had to go underneath it in order to get to it since it's connected with other people's trailers it's like a weird community thing that is on my boyfriend's aunts land. Anyway, I hit my head to where it knocked me on my butt. I didn't pass out nor have I had any memory loss. I put ice on my head directly after hitting it and I've been taking ibuprofen. But every morning now I wake up feeling a little hazy and dizzy. My neck hurts too

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,

The symptoms can be attributed to inflammatory response & accumulation of fluid and blood (hematoma).
The blood cells accumulated are eventually broken down and absorbed in the body.
But this is a slow process & takes times to disappear completely.
Till that time, symptomatic relief is obtained by taking analgesics like Diclofenac+ Serratiopeptidase preparations, ice compression & adequate rest.
Multivitamin & multimineral supplements like Iron, Vitamin B 12, Calcium, etc. need to be added to your diet.

If it still persists or there are any other associated symptoms like vomiting, fever, loss of consciousness, convulsions, etc...then it will be better to consult your Doctor.
There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
Meanwhile, maintain adequate hydration, take a healthy balanced diet & avoid stress.
Also, take precautions of not making sudden movements of the head and get up from bed slowly.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
