Should I Be Concerned About The Sharp Pain In The Knee?
From time to time for about a month I have been getting sharp pains in my knees when I walk. I do a lot of sport and when I run I get sharp, horrible pains in my knees (right more than left) with every step. I am a 14 year old girl. Does this sound like growing pains or something more serious? Any information would be really helpful.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, it may be the rheumatic arthritis, injury based arthritis, or rheumatoid arthritis. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an X ray, R.A. factor, C reactive protein for diagnosis. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms nuerotropic injections for 10 consecutive days and then periodically. supplements of calcium, vitamin D, and pain killers when needed. Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods. wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
