Should I Be Concerned For Child Consuming 2-3 Drops Of Cologne?
my son and his cousin (both 8yrs old) were playing with cologne and one put two drops on the others tongue. Not much is missing from the tube so i believe it was only 2-3 drops tops. my son spit in the sink and was rinsing his mouth from the taste when I came in. Do I need t worry with such a small amount?
If your son spat out the contents and rinsed his mouth, nothing to worry.
If he accidentally swallowed it, observe him for any signs like nausea, vomiting, alteration in behavior etc. If any symptoms...do take him to a doc immediately.
However, if it is just 2-3 drops,it is quite unlikely that he should have any major symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards, Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
