Should I Be Concerned For Child Waking With Blood All Over Face And Arms From A Nose Bleed?

My 10 year-old son fell into a very heavy sleep for about 10 minutes this afternoon and woke with blood all over his face and arms from a nose bleed. He had a friend sleep over last night so I know he didn't get the best night sleep but he seems to be acting a bit oddly and is lethargic. Should I be concerned?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
Massive nose bleed requires immediate medical attention.
I suggest you to compress the one side of nostril from where bleeding is occurring to stop any active bleeding is present.
Lethargy also a concerning symptom.
I suggest you to consult the doctor as early as possible.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
