Should I Be Concerned For Painful, Soreness Bump On Right Labia Majora And Groin Area?

I noticed yesterday a painful peasized bump on my right labia majora. It was tender to the touch but that s it. Today I popped it and almost immediately after I began to notice terrible soreness in my groin area along with swelling and redness of my entire labia. Should I be worried?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The possible lesion on labia majora are :
- Folliculitis, due to infection of the hair follicle.
-Sebaceous cyst, can occur due to blocked sebaceous gland.
When these lesions get infected they will form abscess.
That can rupture leading to pus discharge, swelling, pain etc.
So, consult gynecologist once and get examined.
You may need local and systemic antibiotics to cure the abscess.
Analgesic and anti inflammatory drugs help in relieving pain.
Sitz bath helps to some extent.
