Hi and welcome to the community,

I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
A transverse lie at 5 months does not have any significance. The baby keeps on changing its position so in the morning it may be transverse and few minutes later it may be vertical. If the position persists after 34-36 weeks then it is less likely to change as the baby is big and there is relatively less space to move.

Do not worry about it now. Just continue with your antenatal visits and be happy as a smiling mother means a smiling baby.
Wish you a safe pregnancy and delivery.

Thanks for using HCM.
Have a good day.
