Should I Be Worried About About Puffy And Burning Hands?
When I take a shower, my hands start to get puffy and begin to burn. They also got little white spots along the creases of my hands and they don't go away. I'm a fourteen year old girl and my parents just think it's normal, but I am kind of concerned. Is there something wrong with my hands?
Hi, I can understand your concern for the puffy and burning hands.
After reading the query, in my opinion it appears to simple "Aquagenic urticaria" which is induced on exposure to water. It is a common and simple problem and we very quite often see this condition in our day to day practice.
I suggest you to take antihistamine tablet such as loratadine once a day one to two hour before bath.
Do not pinch, pop or scratch or even touch the area unnecessarily as it can cause aggravation of the rash. Stay away from extreme of environment such heat and humidity.
Take care.
