Hi doctor. My 1yr old hits h er head quite often as she's learning to walk. She hit her temple on a round knob a few days ago and h er firehead against the floor. Should i worry? She's acting normal for the most part but i'm still worried. She plays and eats, didn't loose consciousness and a little while aft er the knock she was fine.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
Frequent head injury is not a good thing, so I suggest you to take precautions to prevent injuries by making home safe and friendly for kids during the time of walking.
Put carpets on the floor and supervise the child activities.
If she is active, no vomitings, playful, then nothing to worry.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards
