Hi, I've been battling with severe tiredness, headaches and just a general "feeling ill" feeling. Went for blood tests and the results came back saying the following:
"the red cells are hypochromic with occasional elliptocytes present, please see Ferritin level normal. Consider Chronic disorders or acute phase reaction (thus false normal Ferritin level)"
Added to this, they mentioned the following:
Subclinical/early hypothyroidism as the Thyroid function TSH was high (5.81) and the cholesterol is high (6.4).
Added tests were done and it was found that the Free T4 (Roche), Antithyroglobulin and Antithyroid Peroxidase levels are normal.
Could you kindly explain and advise what I need to do? The doctor did not request for me to come see him again and I still feel terrible everyday struggling to keep awake and to function. Should I be worried about all this as mentioned above.
