Should I Be Worried About Purple Veins Appearing On Shoulders?
My 10 year old boy has really obvious purple veins across his shoulders. Is this something to be worried about? He isn't underweight or overweight and he eats well. He is not poorly either. It looks like the veins on the inside of your wrist, where it looks like the skin is thin.

Visible veins over the shoulders are usually normal. At this age it is not something to be worrying about.
It will be of a concern if
- the size increases
- If associated with skin changes
- If with pain
- If suddenly increases in size
I would suggest, give it some time- it should settle by itself.
