Should I Be Worried About "Pneumonia With Consolidation And Small Cavities, Mass Lession Vs. Abscess Not Ruled Out"?
hi doc, what does "Pneumonia with consolidation and small cavities, right, mass lession vs. abscess not ruled out, Ct scan suggested for better better evaluation" means? thats the result of my chest xray....Is this something serious that i should worry about?

Report suggests that you have radiological evidence of pneumonia along with some cavity which probably increases the chance of having anaerobic infections and tuberculosis. And if you are elderly smoker underlying malignancy should have to be excluded. For better evaluation of your disease you must go for a CT scan thorax. You should consult a pulmonologist soon.
