Should I Be Worried About Slow Heart Rate Of Fetus?
I had an ultra sound today where I was confirmed to be 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. The fetus has a heartbeat of 117 and upon going to work a lot of the girls with children had claimed that this is weird because theirs were in the 130 plus range. Should I be worried about this?
There is no need to worry. The heart rate in early pregnancy is usually on the lower side. A rate of 117 is OK. As the baby grows, it will increase and higher rates will be established.
These results are common during early first trimester and not a cause of worry. enjoy your pregnancy and have a safe delivery.
