Should I Be Worried About Swelling And Redness After A Mosquito Bite?

My four year old daughter was bit by a mosquito on Saturday or Sunday. I hadn t noticed anything out of the ordinary until a few minutes ago and it is now warm to the touch, swollen and red (about a golf ball size). the bite is on the back of her leg just above her ankle. She I take her in to be seen?

Hi dear.Thanks for writing on HCM.
According to me normal mosquito bite would not normally cause a bump of this size.I were to suspect infection of the bump.However I would prefer to examine.Suggest topical application of Fusudic acid 2% ointment twice daily.Hope this answers your query.
