I read your question and I understand your concern.

It is not clear though whether this was your first seizure, by saying you are epileptic at the end it seems you already have a diagnosis and in that case it's just one seizure in the course of epilepsy, so nothing to panic.

If you meant that it was your doctor who said you were epileptic and this was your first seizure it's another issue. Of course it is a motive for worry but one single epileptic seizure doesn't necessarily mean that you have epilepsy, only if seizures are repeated would a diagnosis of epilepsy be made. Having had one seizure of course there is that risk. To evaluate properly whether there is epileptiform activity in the brain and make a better prediction an EEG is needed.
MRI or CAT scan doesn't make the diagnosis of epilepsy, it's a clinical diagnosis based on the description of the episodes and EEG. An MRI is used to exclude some serious causes of epilepsy like brain tumor, stroke, infection which need specific treatment.
So for the moment I recommend follow-up and EEG.

I hope to have been of help.

ur giving definite history of seizure most probably temporal lobe origin. ur doctor must have started anti epileptic drugs....continue it and take regularly.
get EEG done.
what are MRI findings...?
Long term prognosis depends upon type of epilepsy and it's etiology.
regards.
