my baby at 4th yr& 9month first epilepsy symptom shown. at that time eeg report was ok but mri report tell about of epilepsy. at that time his weight was 13 kg. doctors advice to continue valparine 200 syrup, 3.5ml twice per day(2015 September). now his weight is 16.8 kg and doctor s advice to give 4ml twice per day. please give me advice for proper treatment. every 3 month sgot & sgpt are checked.

welcome to hcm your child treatment is going fine and good doctor increased the dose as the weight of baby increased and regular monitoring of liver function is being done please see that there should be no epileptic seizure during treatment if such happens consult doctor as soon as possible as a precaution ask your child to avoid fasting .. advise good sleep restrict television especially pop music if you have any further query then you can come back to hcm i will definitely help you and guide you appropriately with regards dr varinder joshi
