Should I Be Worried About The Unusual Pale Color In Feces After A Salmonella Treatment?

My 4 year old daughter recently had salmonella and was treated with a course of anti biotics for ten days. She recovered and its been a month since she first got ill. However I have noticed a number of times when she has done a poo that they have been unusually pale in colour. I was wondering if she may still have some problems although she seems well and back to normal. She has a good appetite.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM.
Color of the stools are because of the pigment released from the liver. In typhoid fever many times the liver is also little damaged may lead to such symptoms.
Gradually with due course of time color will be better.
Hope the query is answered.
Thanks
