Should I Consult A Doctor For Cloudy Urination And Backache Around The Kidney Area?

Hi, I just have a fast question. I have been having lots of bubbles in my urine for a couple months or more & it is getting more at a time. I also have very bad swollen feet & legs. Memory loss, short term or confusion. I was checked a month ago for UTI & it was negative but the only way I could go a bit of pee was to drink a lot of water. I went a small bit & it was almost water colored at the time. I used to have some pain which made me think it was kidney stone but the pain is gone but the swelling, memory loss, hard to begin to pee (about 2-5 minutes) foamy urine & very cloudy urine. I also hurt in my back where the kidneys are located. The dented area in the back below the ribs. I just need to know if I should try & see my quack doctor who never believes me or try a different doctor. Or should I just wait until my next appointment with a new doctor in October? Thank you Kindly for your time!

Hi,

The cloudy urine, back ache, swelling in the feet and legs indicate underlying kidney problems in terms of filtration, absorption or secretion.

The most possible reason is protein loss in urine from various possible pathologies, such as glomerulopathy, nephritis or others.

A thorough detailed work up with physical examination, basic lab tests and ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis are the primary key steps to diagnose the case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
