Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing backache from 2 months. I am 24 years old. I lost abt 20 kgs in about 9 to 10 months. now i am 62 kgs and height 163cms. backache started after doing a few exercises in the gym. I quit the gym a month back but backache is getting worse. plz suggest what i need to do now.
1.It is too much to loose 20 kgs over so short period - in this case i would look for any pathology in the body. 2.The back ace in this age should be eased off with simple back exercises followed by physiotherapy. 3.In this case i would recommend to get a MRI spine done that will assess the possible cause of the pain and can be treated accordingly. 4.If you are doing exercises in order to loose weight - please stop it as your good enough for your height any more will be underweight. 5.Finally ultrasound abdomen will assess the possible cause and solid organ pathologies and any lymphadenopathy.
Good luck. Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
