Should I Consult A Doctor For Reddish Brown Urine, Having Severe Heart Burn And Cramping In Stomach And Taking Omeprazole For Acid Reflux?
I have reddish brown urine for past 2 days and a very bloated upper stomach. just a few sips of tea/coffee lor a few bites of food leave me feeling very heavy and full all day. have had severe heartburn for days and before that cramping pains in lower stomach and back for 3 days. Have been on omeprazole for approx. 10 weeks for excess acid. should I revisit my doctor.

Hi...looks like u r having ureteric stone leading to cramps n hematuria...get a usg abdomen and urine routine and show to a urologist...also make your omeprazole twice daily and stop tea n coffee completely...

You should revisit your doctor because still symptoms are there.
It is due to dyspepsia and acidity.
Omeprazole is not enough for this you have to start long course of rebeprazole or pentoprazole with domperidone or cinitapride will be more helpful.
Take enzyme preparations with it.
Eat more liquid,simple and high fiber diet.
Drink more water and other liquids like coconut water,buttermilk,lemon water.
Go for exercise,yoga regularly.
Go for investigations like cbc,urine,rbs, and usg abdomen to rule out underlying condition.
Keep in touch with your doctor.
