Should I Consult An Oncologist For The Tumor On The Colon Removed?

My husband just had part of his colon removed,he was informed on that part of his colon there was a tumor that they said was pretty aggressive. They said they did not see any more signs of a tumor anywhere else. But they are going to send him to an oncologist. Im wondering what we can expect. Thankyou.
