Should I Consult The Dermatologist For The Ring Worm On The Hand?
I just found out I have ringwormon my hand. My dog had a red spot a few weeks ago and I put a cone on him thinking he was just licking out of nervousness f rom surgery. Now we both have ringworm, I think. I am going to the vet tomorrow with him to confirm. If he is diagnosed with it, should I put Lamosil on myself or do I have to run to the dermatologist?
Ringworm infection on hand also called Tinea manus. It is caused by the fungus ...dermatophyte. It is an infectious and contagious skin disease. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to take antifungal like itraconazole. And apply antifungal cream like luliconazole. Avoid soap bath.
