Hello,

I do not think the worsening of the symptoms is related to taking Rantac. It is a medication used to reduce acid secretion in the stomach, it doesn't affect head and neck pain either for the better or for the worse.

The doctor must have prescribed it to protect your stomach given the other medication prescribed.

As for the cause of the headache, it's tough to say without knowing more about headache characteristics, your age, and prior history, blood pressure etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
