Should I Give My Son Another Oral Polio Vaccine As He Vomitted Which Was Given To Him ?
hi doctors, my son got an oral polio vaccine yesterday then After 15 or 20 minutes he vomited. What should i do? Do i need to go back to the clinic and let him get another oral polio drops? thanks

Hi since the child has vomited 15 to 20 mts. after taking the polio drops,
the chances are that the polio drops may have been vomited.
It would be better if you administer the polio drops again. Visit the clinic and give the child another dose of polio drops, to be on the safer side.

HI Doctors,
I have called the clinic and the nurse said they are not repeating the vaccines if already given after 20 minutes. My son is six months and got 2 shots of IPV, first in 2nd month and second shot in 4th month. PLease advice.

I think you should check up with Govt. HQ hospital and take advise from them.
Because they usually have a date fixed for visiting a hospital. You can check where it will be available in the coming week and go get opv there.
