Should I Go To The ER For Sharp Pain In The Lower Abdomen On The Right Side?

I haven’t eaten much today. Before bed around 9 I had some gas and a small pain in my lower right abdomen. About 11:30pm I woke up from severe sharp pains in my lower right abdomen and couldn’t go back to sleep. Around 12 I tried to get up to walk around, I had pain when I tried getting up and walking. I still have bad sharp pains, pain when moving and some gas. Should I go to the ER or it out?

It's better to go to the ER and diagnose the condition. This may be the sign of appendicitis, which is nothing but inflammation of the appendix.

If the symptoms persist, it's better to seek medical attention immediately, because timely diagnosis and treatment are very important.

Do not eat, drink, or use any pain remedies, antacids, laxatives, or heating pads, which can cause an inflamed appendix to rupture. If it's not appendicitis; a medical practitioner can diagnose and support you with the treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
