Should I Have A Head Scan After Head Injury Causing Neck Stiffness?

Hi,
I have hit my head while playing ice skating . I felt down on my back and got hardly hit on my head back though the pain was bearable. Afterward nothing happened until I woke up next morning. when I woke up in the morning I felt pain/stiff on my neck ( close to head behind ears) on the both sides.

I don't have any visibility problem neither dizzy or foggy scene. I have been to doctor but He didn't suggest me to do any diagnosis for the head.

Though I am suspicious for my panic neck.

Should I be worried and attempt to have scan of my head?

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and would like to reassure you that your symptoms suggest a mild head injury and there is no need to worry.

For relief of symptoms, you could take analgesics such as ibuprofen or diclofenac tablets. You would get better in 3-5 days.

Please watch for symptoms such as severe headache, vomiting, double vision, fits, etc, when you should go to ER and get a CT scan of head done.
