Hi My WBC count on 12/26/12 was 20-40 RBC 4-10. Also found gardernella in urine on 12/26/12 and taking flagell 500 mg. 2x daily. The urologist wants to perform a cystoscopy this Thursday. Have a history of microsopic blood in urine. Also on 12/7/12 had a bout with blood (not sure where it came from). One time only. Should I have the cystoscopy?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have history of blood in urine in past. But you have not mentioned the present complain. Please tell me about your present complain.
You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination and ultrasound abdomen first. Then if needed go for cystoscopy. You should go for non invasive procedure first and then invasive procedure if needed.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
